As one might guess from its designation, the ARC-4M Archer Heavy BW is a long-range support platform, designed to deliver firepower from a distance while remaining safely out of the main combat zone. Two massive LRM-20 racks allow it drop huge amounts of high explosive to an area. Four medium blaster cannons back up the LRM's, two of them mounted to the rear to cover the walker's back.
Armor consists of 0.75 meters of Class B ablative, enough to take a few volleys from vehicle-class turbolaser cannons or a several dozen volleys from an AT-AT.
