The Black Dusk, along with its sister ship the Nebulon-B Frigate Black Dawn served under the Vengeance and then the Cleansing with great effectiveness during the wars throughout the Regentship of James Ardin and the Imperium under Damascus.

The lone ship to survive from its battle group during the Battle of Corellia, thanks to Captain Hastos, it was recommissioned and renamed the Ardin, and made the personal ship of Delth Ardin.

It is configured like most Strike Cruisers with reinforced armor and shielding and more advanced turbolasers.

The ship participated in the Battle of Chil'a'Chin and came away unscathed.
