The BLR-3K BattleMaster was conceived as a mobile command vehicle. It is the only walker that was designed with a passenger in mind. The unit commander sits in the rear of the expanded cockpit to direct strategy and tactics, while the pilot sits in front and concentrates on keeping his commander safe in battle. For armament, the walker carries a PPC to keep enemies at bay, while six medium blaster cannons (four forward, two rear), a SRM-6 pack, and an anti-infantry rotary blaster round out the armament. To provide added protection for the CO, an anti-missile system is mounted above the cockpit. Advanced sensors also help the commander keep track of the action.
Armor consists a full meter of Class B ablative, allowing the walker to take a few dozen volleys from vehicle-class turbolasers or even several shots from a bombarding warship.
