Burx Ludo is a silent and deadly assassin, trained in the ways of the Force by a renegade Dark Jedi Master from Palpatine's order. For many years, he learned of the Force, and the Dark Side, as the master trained his apprentice in hopes of establishing a strong force to overthrow Sidious. The chance never came, however, as the Battle of Endor resulted in Palpatine's and Vader's demise.

Burx continued his training under his master's tutelage until he was deemed ready to take on the New Jedi Order. It was at this point, through sheer ambition, that Burx betrayed and murdered his master. Holding no desire to join the Jedi Order, he took up his master's lightsaber and trained in Jar'Kai, later mastering the technique.

He would eventually forge an unforeseen alliance with the least likely of individuals to cross his path. While traveling the galaxy, Burx encountered Darth Odium and his apprentice, Darth Dolosus, on the planet Usau. Immediately sensing the threat to his own power from these two, Burx challenged them to a duel, whereupon he was wounded. Before his death, he learned that they were Sith Lords, and immediately offered his services in exchange for his life. In truth, Burx hoped to betray one, or both, later on and become a Sith Lord himself.

A master of both Shien and Djem So, as well as Soresu, Burx also employs many concepts of Makashi in his training, and knows rudimentary concepts of Juyo. Coupled with his proficiency with the martial arts, as well as his abilities in the Force, the Dark Jedi is a powerful individual and a deadly assassin.
