The Corus is the flagship for the Republic Engineering Corporation. It follows the stock design of the Defender-class Star Destroyer in most respects, but REC has put some extra work into improving the shields to better protect it and the valuable personnel that are often aboard, which usually includes the CEO of the company, Sigarr Halomek. When Sigarr is not on the ship, command of the Corus falls to Admiral Ean Gorvam.
