While slightly shorter than its partner, the Atlas, the DVS-2 Devasatator is no less imposing in apperance, or formidable in capabilities. The walker has a distinctive, broad-shouldered appearance, often giving the impression that it could simply physically batter its way through enemy lines.
Weaponry consists of two long-range Gauss rifles, two PPC's, and four medium blaster cannons, along with the semi-obligatory anti-missile system. The combination gives the machine a crippling one-shot punch at long range. Armor is a thick 1.5 meters of Class B ablative, allowing the walker to take a several dozen volleys from vehicle-class turbolasers or even several shots from a bombarding warship. Like the Atlas, only the most concentrated of firepower can hope to bring down a Devastator.
