Elemental armor was designed to be the standard infantryman's armor. As such, it is neither overly armed nor overly fast; rather, it is a flexible mix. Speed and agility are both marginally increased despite the weight and bulk. The suit's musculature triples the wearer's strength, while the jet pack provides a jump radius of up to 120 meters.

Weaponry consists of a pair of PLX missile tubes arranced in an over-the-shoulder rig. Each tube has one reload. The left arm is a three-fingered battle claw capable of generating up to 30 kilograms-per-square-centimeter of pressure, nearly ten times the force required to shatter a human bone. Slung under the claw is a light repeating blaster. The right arm has a hardpoint where several different weapons could be mounted; a medium blaster cannon for anti-vehicle work, a heavy repeating blaster, a pair of light repeaters, or a quad arrangement of blaster rifles. Any MMA-manufactured weapon may also be mounted. The armor is rated at Class Two, sufficient to take a couple blasts from an AT-ST walker and remain functional.

As will all the suits, Elemental armor includes a built-in medpack which automatically diagnoses a wound and administers drugs and treatment. Another feature is the 'syntharmor', a lighter version of the harjel used by MMA capital ships. Syntharmor is a black, tarry substance that is released to seal any armor breaches. This substance hardens upon contact with air and provides some minimal protection against further injury.
