Very little is known about this little alien. Xanamiar Knight spent much time with him, and learned that his people had left the galaxy when the Emperor had taken control over the Galactic republic to search out a new place to live where they hoped they would never be found. Fylem is one of the last of his kind in the galaxy.
When asked about his age, his only reply was that he was old enough. Fylem had a few quirks about him, but was a marvelous engineer, and an excellent ship builder. With Fylems help Xanamiar created his ship which could travel faster than hypderdrive.
