The Gladius Interceptor is one of the most advanced starfighters in the Laro Order. The ship is made for speed and designed to operate effectively in space or atmosphere. Wing extensions on either side of the craft fold out for atmospheric flight and maneuvering vanes on the engines help to keep it nimble when not in space. The fighter is lightly armed to give the Gladius as small a profile as possible and make it easier to maintain.
Common practice for Gladius fighters is to either fly ahead of slower Laro fighters and cut through enemy formations or to scout out enemy locations and report back before the enemy can stop them.
