The AGM-3 Hellfire is an air-to-ground missile (ATGM) designed for close air support. It is effective against a wide range of tactical targets, including armoured vehicles, air defences, ships, ground transportation, and fuel storage facilities.
It mounts a so-called HEIAT (High Explosive Incendiary Anti Tank) warhead, which is effective against all possible land targets, barring an AT-AT.
