Space station Jubilee was the Shadow Imperium's frontal defense against threats and potential threats from the Hydian Way and the region immediately surrounding the station's proximity. Like its sister outpost, Shield, Jubilee utilizes a "no quarter" approach in unauthorized entry of its assigned quadrant. Assisted by a Victory-class Star Destroyer Mark II and two Tartan-class Patrol Cruisers, Jubilee is ready to fend off any threat that dare opposes the Imperium.

The station's purpose was later reonfigured by Darth Trayus to become the frontal defense of the Crimson Empire's core territories, as well as a forewarning for any imminent attack on the sector's position from the station's entry vector.
