The Lictor-class Dungeon Ship, also known as an Imperial Dungeon Ship, is a versatile warship and mobile prison originally designed for use by the Mandalorian Neo-Crusader Fleet during the Mandalorian Wars. The design proved resilient enough that it is still in use nearly four thousand years after its conception. It has also spawned two other versions on its design, the Kiltirin-class Dungeon Ship and the Atiniir-class Dungeon Ship.
Imperial Use[]
The versions used by the Galactic Empire are equipped with Universal Energy Cages, holding cells, drop bays, and sparring chambers where Dark Side Adepts can battle captive Jedi. They are designed to intimidate, and have gained a reputation for never returning a captive who enters them. Guard droids are used to help prevent Jedi escapes.
In order to ensure that the prisoners can't revolt and commandeer a vessel, the navicomps for the Imperial Lictor-class are only able to hold two sets of coordinates (the home base and the destination), and so the ship can only go to those locations.
