The Mark 3 Light Tank has served the Confederacy for over a decade now. It was initially used as a support vehicle for the now discontinued Crusader and Paladin hover tanks, but the extreme versatility of the Mark 3 meant that it was upgraded to the standard battle tank when the Paladin was discontinued, despite its higher cost.

Armed with a PPC and a SRM-4 missile launcher, the Mark 3 is capable of engaging and destroying targets well beyond its class.
