NPC

From Star Wars: Exodus Visual Encyclopedia

NPC is short for Non-Player Character. Unless stated otherwise by the NPC's creator, it is generally assumed to be okay for anyone to control the NPC's actions without prior permission.

However, it is also expected that the NPC's actions reflect how the character was established in the story.
