Nir Kento is a Bothan Jedi Knight who was recruited into the order as a young child. He quickly became very intelligent and had much great interest in diplomacy, adventure and knowledge as oppossed to fighting. Kento believed greatly in his life that the pen was mightier than the sword but one must always keep a sword handy because only the dead have seen the end of war. Through this one thing, he was looked upon by other Jedi, who called him a philosopher. However, just after receiving Knighthood, Kento left the Order, while still remaining as an active Jedi but to find and solve the mysteries and troubles of the galaxy and also to gain more knowledge of the force.

Early Life[]
Nir Kento was born shortly after the Battle of Yavin when the first Death Star was destroyed on the planet of Bothawui to a happy Bothan couple. His mother was a Bothan diplomat and business woman while his father was a Bothan spy. Interesting enough, Nir's father was one of the Bothan's that helped capture the plans for the Death Star.
