The Rebellion on Dathomir was an attempt made by Darth Trayus to disguise a Crimson Empire commando unit as a New Republic SpecOps unit. Lead by Alexis Kiara, Epsilon Squad was able to perform the mission parameters well. The resulting rebellion between the Galactic Empire and Nightsisters would become instrumental in the inciting of a galaxy-wide civil war.
Inciting the Rebellion[]

Upon the arrival of Alexis Kiara and Epsilon Squad on Dathomir, Alexis received a message from Crystal Roshia's mother. Knowing that the woman would cause trouble for Alexis controlling her host, she decided to venture to the Nightsister camp where Crystal's mother was located. Masquerading as a Jedi, she killed the woman, causing distress and panic to erupt in the camp. Before the camp could restructure itself and fight back, Alexis was already gone.
Pushing for War[]

Returning to Epsilon Squad after the assassination of Crystal's mother, Alexis ordered the commando unit to move out to the Imperial base. She accompanied them there, whereupon they engaged in battle with the garrison. Epsilon Squad proved its worth, and with the help of Alexis, it did not take long to subdue the Imperial commander.
Providing the man with false information about being a member of the New Republic, and seeking out attack plans initiated by the Empire, Alexis was unable to complete the charade, as reinforcements arrived on the scene. Creating a diversion, Alexis and Epsilon Squad retreated, leaving a knocked-out unconscious commander behind.
Nightsister Insurgency[]
- "Everyone to arms! Get the blaster canons ready, we have an assault of Nightsisters incoming!"

Shortly after Alexis and Epsilon Squad retreated, the Imperial base fell under attack by the Nightsister clans, believing the attack to be orchestrated by the Empire.
The initial attack lasted for several hours as the nightsisters and rancors punished the walls of the base. Many of the nightsisters were shot down, and many more of the imperials on duty at the outpost were killed. The initial attack from the nightsisters was put to an end by several fighters being sent to the planet, and firing at the rancors, killing several of the large creatures. The nightsisters without hope of taking out the command center at that point, retreated.
