The STG-5M Stinger Light Battle Walker is designed to fill a scouting role. Its capabilities are similar to the Wasp, although the Stinger has a different weapons-loadout and is slightly slower. Weaponry consists of a pistol-like medium blaster cannon in the right arm, an anti-infantry plasma flamethrower in the left wrist, and an automatic rotary laser anti-missile system in the head.
The walker is protected by 0.25 meters of Class B ablative armor, enough to weather several volleys from an AT-AT-class laser cannon.
