Little was known of Savek Atrum's history. He started in the Sith Brotherhood as a dark Jedi Knight, and worked his way to favor with Darth Trayus, becoming the Hands of Darkness's official leader, and attaining the rank of dark Jedi Master. He wore attire similar to that of the Hands of Darkness, however modified to signify his distinctive role as the organization's leader under the guidance and rulership of Darth Trayus himself.

Behind the Scenes

Savek's name is derived from two sources, of which fits his character well. His first name is a derivitive of the Sanskrit name "Sevak," which means "Servant (of God)". His surname is from the latin word meaning "dark." Appropriately, this makes his name mean, roughly, "Servant of the Dark." (An alternative, which is no less than equally fitting, is "Servant of the Dark Lord," or "Servant of the Lord of Darkness.")
