Setvan was the only Durgasi planet apart from Reznor to surrender peacefully; it's governor, Admiral Kel'sen'char, surrendered the planet and system to prevent any unnecessary losses. This act ensured that Setvan received Full Membership when the Durgasi Empire merged with the Confederacy at the end of the Durgasi Conflict.
The planet is home to the Setvan Yards, the newest shipyards in the Confederacy, only starting production in 17 ABY.
