As the name indicates, the Sniper Medium Walker is designed stealthily eliminate opposing command and control elements from long range. It features advanced sensors to locate its targets, though use of the active sensors increases the risk of detection. A powerful ECM package serves to hide the walker from prying eyes, though again, the emissions increase the likelyhood of someone noticing its presence. Ironically enough, this means that the walker often never uses most of the electronics at its disposal.
To accomplish its mission, the machine carries a long-range, high-damage PPC. The cannon can blast through nearly everything, making it an ideal one-shot-one-kill weapon. Four medium pulse lasers and two light blaster cannon back up the PPC at shorter ranges. To aid in its accuracy, an advanced targeting computer is ensconced in the right torso.
Armor consists of 0.5 meters of Class B ablative, enough to take several blasts from vehicle-class turbolaser cannons or a few dozen volleys from an AT-AT.
