Suko is a young orphan boy from the fire nation. He grew up on the streets along with his adopted sister Lin Sing. From a young age he's always had an affinity for bending fire but his skill was unpolished. A chance encounter with the monk Zhang Wong, however, had changed his life completely. After failing to steal food from the monk Zhang Wong adopted Suko and his sister into the fire temple after witnessing their firebending abilities. There they met Fei Yen, the new Avatar, and trained to perfect their firebending skill.
