A front-line combat machine, the TDR-7M Thunderbolt derives its name from the PPC mounted in its right arm. The particle cannon is backed up by three medium blaster cannons in the left chest, a LRM-15 pack mounted over the left shoulder, a SRM-2 pack next to the head, a pair of the new rotary blasters in the left wrist, and the new AMS for missile defense. It is one of the most heavily armed walkers in the MMA lineup.
Armor consists of 0.75 meters of Class B ablative, enough to take a few volleys from vehicle-class turbolaser cannons or a several dozen volleys from an AT-AT.
